Announcing The Wildebrams Fic-A-Thon!
Help Us Show RIB that they made a mistake!
With the end of Glee, and Tartie in the finale, a lot of Wildebrams fans seem to have gone into hiding, but I know you’re still out there! It’s crazy how that has resuscitated what was basically a dead ship.
In the face so so much adversity, we need to be even bolder than ever, supporting our OTP! Did you know that Quartie (a ship that never even really happened in cannon) has something like 300 stories on Fanfiction.net alone? I think we can do better, so we are going to have a Fic-A-Thon! That’s what Quartie did to get attention for their ship back in 2011.
So, during the month of June, please show your pride by writing and posting your stories featuring Kitty and Artie! It doesn’t matter if it’s a one page one shot or a novel, we want to see them all!
Tag them #Wildebramsficathon or #kartieficathon and also use my all purpose tag #WildeAbrams4Ever as well as #Glee #Wildebrams #Kartie #fanfic #fanfiction, etc on Tumblr and on Twitter! The point here is to make your stories as easy to find as possible.

It’s simple. Search Twitter, Tumblr, and Fanfiction.net for the words #Wildebrams #Kartie #Wildebramsficathon #kartieficathon
Why do I need to use the hash tags in my story posts?
This will allow readers to find your stories a lot easier.
Where Do I Post My Stories?
Where you post your stories is up to you, but some suggested places are fanfiction.net gleefanfiction.net and tumblr.com. I personally find the stories easier to read on the first two options, so I suggest you post them there and link to them on your Tumblr and Twitter. Make sure to include the character names and ship names in the description. This will make them easier to find. For some reason just specifying the character names in the character selection in FFDN does not always get the story to show up in search.
Then after you post them visit the submission box:

and send me a link so that I can publicize them on the Fic-A-Thon blog.
Do these have to be new stories?
The point of this is to grow the number of Wildebrams / Kartie stories in circulation, so new stories are best; however you can also use to Fic-A-Thon to publicize your existing stories. I know I will!
Do the stories need to be Wildebrams exclusive or specific?
Stories that use them as the primary or exclusive couple are best, however as long as they are in the story as a couple (or potential couple if your story features anxt or UST) and their own plot line or plot lines, then yes they still count; even if for example you have a story that centers on Finchel, Ryley, or Parley but also includes Wildebrams. In this case however you will need to include a mention of this in the story description.
Do these need to be completed stories?
No. Chapters in a continuing ongoing story, deleted scene type, and teasers of future stories featuring Kitty and Artie are also allowed.
What do I do if I have an idea for a great story but lack the ability to write it myself?
By all means, submit it as a Story Prompt to the Fic-A-Thon blog and hopefully someome else will see it and write it!
